In the other direction, approximately an hour drive from Hopkins, down the peninsula, you will find Placencia Village. Hopkins is a short 3 or so miles from the Southern Highway which is your connection to jungle activities north and south including the recently opened adventure park called Excalibur Adventure Park Or take your own boat out up the Sittee River or out onto the Caribbean Sea.
